A country quartet named among Rolling Stone’s “New Artists You Need to Know” will introduce themselves to the region at one of its most beautiful and intimate venues.
Farewell Angelina will perform at The Grand in Oshkosh on March 20 as part of their “Women & Wine Tour.”
They’ve risen quickly in the country scene.
Named after the Bob Dylan song, the all-female group of accomplished multi-instrumentalists has been lauded for powerhouse vocals and dynamic songwriting.
Their music video for the single, “Ghosts” spent five weeks last year at the top spot on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown.
The band consists of Nicole Witt, Andrea Young, Lisa Torres and Ashley Gearing.
They’ve have opened shows for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Frankie Ballard, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, Maroon 5 and Trace Adkins.
In headlining their own tour, they played more than 80 shows last year.
The Oshkosh performance is part of the Alberta S. Kimball Foundation Series. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $25.
