Wisconsin is home to a tremendous creative energy and talented artists adept at putting it to work.
Don’t take our word for it. Get out of the house and see for yourself.
The 40th Annual SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition opens on Saturday at the Trout Museum of Art. It’s our region’s top competitive, juried fine arts exhibition and will include monetary prizes and ribbons to the top pieces.
It’ll feature works from 90 visual artists from throughout Wisconsin. Click here for a list of artists with works in the exhibit.
An opening reception for museum members will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Events during the course of the exhibition will also include a talk from the juror panel on Feb. 22. The 1 p.m. talk will focus on winning pieces and their decision-making process.
On March 9, a tour will be given for caregivers and loved ones living with memory loss. Registration is available by clicking here.
The exhibition will continue through April 5.
