Live music abounds in the Fox Cities on New Year’s Eve

If you’re heading out for live music this weekend, consider it an appetizer.

The main course arrives on Tuesday, and if your New Year’s Eve plans entail the living room couch and an evening with Ryan Seacrest, you’re doing it all wrong.

There’s a wide array of live music on tap throughout the Fox Cities and there’s no better way to forge some excellent, final memories of 2019.

Mile of Music will again put its stamp on the holiday with its New Year’s Encore Eve featuring festival favorites at Red Lion Paper Valley Hotel. The event, beginning at 8 p.m., will include Freddy & Francine (Nashville), Mike Mains & The Branches (Detroit, MI), Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts (Rockford, IL) and Little Stranger (Charleston, SC)

The evening will be hosted by Adrian+Meredith and include pop-up performances from Genevieve Heyward and David Paul Martin.
