Mile of Music is a little more than a month away and organizers put out the call for those willing to be part of the off-stage backbone that makes it all happen.
Mile of Music is seeking more than 400 volunteers to lend a hand during the festival, which runs from Aug. 1-4 in Downtown Appleton.
Volunteers will receive a T-shirt and an invitation to an Aug. 7 concert held in thanks for their service. During the festival, they’ll have access to a lounge with food and drinks and a place to cool off.
Shifts range from four hours to six hours long.
Mile of Music will feature more than 200 artists who will perform about 900 sets. The festival will unfold across 60 downtown venues.
