Mile of Music 2019 has reached the 200-artist marker.
And there’s still one more slate of performers yet to be announced before the once-again gargantuan music lineup is complete.
The festival on Monday announced 30 more artists that’ll perform in and around Downtown Appleton during Mile of Music, which takes place on Aug. 1 through 4.
Returning artists include favorite local acts. Kyle Megna and the Monsoons, Feed the Dog, Tyler & the Streeters, The Lately and Leading the Blind will reclaim festival stages. Marty Paschke, Pudge and Neenah’s David Paul Martin were also announced among the returning acts.
Cave Paintings and Rooted Notion, both out of Appleton, will each make Mile of Music debuts.
The list of new Mile of Music artists includes three acts from Milwaukee.
Driveway Thriftdwellers, Bootleg Bessie and No No Yeah Okay will make the trek along northbound U.S. 41 to add their sounds to the avenue.
Acts announced Monday will arrive from Nashville, Austin, Louisville and Raleigh, NC.
Organizers anticipate about 220 artists for this year’s seventh edition of Mile of Music. They’ll play about 950 sets over the four days.
The free festival will unfold through 70 Appleton venues. Click here Monday’s full Mile announcement.
